How Do I Pray?

Jesus prayed often, even staying up all night to pray. But why? He was fully God and fully human, so prayer helped Him stay connected to God and get guidance. Prayer can do the same for us.

To make important decisions (like choosing His twelve apostles)

To feel close to God

To find strength in difficult times

How Did Jesus Pray?

He made prayer a priority

He prayed alone and with others

He asked others to pray with Him

He didn’t use fancy words

He didn’t pray to impress others

He didn’t treat prayer as a list of demands

How You Can Pray
Prayer is like talking with a friend or a family member. Be honest and open with God. You can:

Thank Him for what you have

Ask for help or guidance

Listen for His voice

Start small. Talk to God a few minutes each day. Over time, prayer will help you come closer to Jesus.
