Do I Need to Be Saved?

This section explains why salvation is necessary. God created us for a relationship with Him, but sin brought separation and brokenness. Because we cannot fix this on our own, we need God’s help to be restored.

God’s Original Design

God created people to live in a relationship with Him. From the beginning, His desire was for us to know Him, trust Him, and walk with Him. God is holy, loving, and perfect. His design for humanity was closeness with Him.

The Fall: What Went Wrong?

The Bible teaches that humanity chose independence from God. Instead of trusting Him, people chose their own way. This choice is called sin. Sin is living life separated from God. Because of sin:

Our relationship with God was broken

We became spiritually separated from Him

Pain, brokenness, and death entered the world

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

Separation from God

Sin creates a gap between us and God. A holy God cannot ignore sin, and we cannot fix the separation on our own.

No amount of good behavior, religion, or effort can bridge this gap. This is why salvation is necessary.

“The wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23)

God’s Loving Rescue Plan

Because of God's great love, He sent Jesus to do what we could not do for ourselves.  Jesus:

Lived a perfect, sinless life

Took our sin upon Himself on the cross

Paid the price for our separation

Rose from the dead, defeating sin and death

“…but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

Why Salvation Matters

Salvation means:

Forgiveness of sin

Restoration of relationship with God

New spiritual life

The promise of eternal life

Being made new.

“God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

So, Do I Need to Be Saved?

Yes, because God loves you.

Salvation is God’s invitation to come home.
To be forgiven.
To be made new.
To walk in relationship with Him again.

Jesus is the bridge between broken humanity and a loving God.

“Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life.’” (John 14:6)

What Happens When I Say Yes?

When you place your faith in Jesus:

Your sins are forgiven

You are made right with God

You receive new life

You begin a new journey
